This project was developed in five days as part of the Swiss Game Academy, where we each taught a course:
Programming (Advanced): gameplay systems, shaders, and real-time integration.
3D (Beginner): low-poly modeling, flat-colored texturing with selective hand-painted details, and asset optimization.
To demonstrate the importance of collaboration, we structured the workflow around functionality first. The programmer defined the required features, the artist created base concepts, and assets were iteratively refined for integration. Hand-painted details were then added to highlight interactive objects and enhance user experience.
A universal map (1024x1024) streamlined production and supported optimization, while the art pipeline balanced clarity with stylization. The result is a functional prototype showcasing teamwork, technical efficiency, and gameplay readability.
